2007

One item of news is the end of the Morris Motors Social Club. The building is due to be demolished as part of a development of the site.  A new building has been provided but the old name is to go.
28/12/07 - The new premises have now opened under the name of The Lord Nuffield Club and the demolition of the old buildings has started.

The picture, upper-left, taken in mid-July, shows the turn of the last century houses while in the one, upper-right taken three weeks later, they have been demolished.

The next pictures show the demolition of the part of the club which was behind the houses.
