There have been many obvious changes in the past 120 years.

One area worthy of note is that of Cowley Marsh. While there is still a recreational area remaining the majority of playing fields have disappeared and there are no college pavilions as shown as being in situ on this map.

 

Bullingdon Cottage is still in Salegate Lane, although enlarged and modernised. In Crescent Road the sole property near Junction Road was called Hill Cottage but has been No. 113 most of the last century and the well marked was filled in probably in the early part of the Twentieth Century.
